The Golden bug brings back a partnership between user and device and thus becomes the rediscovery of analogue emotions.

1,6 S.M. OF LIFE

The main concept was to comment on the fact that our lives are shrinking in order to fit into the confined space of our office. Eventually, I realised that each civilisation may have a very different perception of things depending on its social context. For example, this desk could be used for a siesta or for a few hours of sleep at night on those days when someone struggles to meet deadlines. The project was named after the dimensions of the prototype (2,00 meters long and 0,80 meter wide =1,6 s.m.) and the fact that work keeps taking up more and more space in our life.
